Thomas Strickland, b. Oct 18 1802 at Williamson Co., Tennessee, was a son of Thomas Strickland Sr. and Zelpha Slocum. On June 8 1826, in Boone County, Missouri, he married Elizabeth Shock, daughter of John Shock and Mary Bealor. She was born Oct 28 1807 at Fayette Co., Kentucky and died Jan 1853.<\/p>\n

Thomas and Elizabeth had 9 children, all listed in the file below: Joseph, John Henry, Mary Martha, Zilpha Jane, Millie Ann married James Kelly Crockett<\/a> (direct line), William J., James P., Michael Kelly, and Thomas H. B.<\/p>\n

Thomas married second Elizabeth in 1855 at Vernon County, Missouri. Born 1821, she had been previously married to a man named Nichols, which whom she had a child A. C. (Catherine) Nichols, b. 1844 in Missouri.<\/p>\n
