John Eugene McKenney, son of Robert Eugene McKenney and Mary Bartow, was b. 1853 May 7 at Council Bluffs, Pottawatommie, Iowa, and died 1929 Dec 29 at Stearns County, Minnesota. On 1884 Nov 22 at St. Cloud, Stearns, Minnesota, he married Johanna “Anna” Roth b. 18865 Nov 3 at Meridian, , Connecticut, died 1935 Mar 12 at Melrose, Stearns, Minnesota. <\/p>\n

They had three children:<\/p>\n

1. Nicholas Roy McKenney b. June 20 1886 at Waldport, Lincoln, Oregon, died Dec 11 1968 at Melrose, Stearns, Minnesota, married Mathilda Wittkop on Sep 21 1937 at St. Rosa, Stearns, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

2. Lena McKenney b. May 19 at Millwood, Stearns, Minnesota, died Aug 9 1972 at Melrose, Stearns, Minnesota, married Otto Tabatt b. March 21 1871 at Millwood, Stearns, Minnesota, died June 24, 1960 at Melrose, Stearns, Minnesota. They were married July 21 1908.<\/p>\n

3. Samuel Bartow “Bart” McKenney b. July 31 1890 at Millwood, Stearns, Minnesota, died March 26 1980 at St. Cloud, Stearns, Minnesota, married Maria Ann Notsch b. Sep 25 1897 at Freeport, Stearns, Minnesota and died Feb 17 1976. Married Sep 9 1919 at St. Rosa, Stearns, Minnesota they had 6 children between 1921 and 1930.<\/p>\n
