His wife, Rebecca, was born about 1800 to 1802 in South Carolina and died 1879 August 16.<\/p>\n<p>The children, as per the census appear to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Martha (Mary E.) b. 1830 Oct 27 in Mississippi, died 1892 Aug 20, married William Knight b. 1823-24, died 1879 Nov 2.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Lemuel or Leonard b. abt 1835 in Louisiana married Angeline<\/li>\n<li>Amanda b. abt 1840 in Mississippi<\/li>\n<li>Franklin b. abt 1841 in Mississippi<\/li>\n<li>Frances G. b. abt 1844 in Mississippi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I have thus far located the family on the following censuses.<\/p>\n<p>The 1840 census shows 1 male child about 5 to 10 and 1 female child 1 to 5 and 1 female 5 to 10.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1840 Pike Co.
