The House in Arkansas

The Washington Parish, Louisiana family of the Hennesys began branching out geographically in the 1930s. Esmond’s paper mill job took him to Lafayette, Ouachita, Arkansas. This is the house they lived in. I would imagine that at a later date someone returned and took a photo, and that this is not a photo from the 1930s.

A big difference from Washington Parish, Louisiana.

1850 Pike County MS census
NOTES: The 1850 Pike County MS census shows a family of Nobles living next to the SNELL family (Martha SNELL married Murdock Middleton WILSON). Martha NOBLES here is however 4 years younger than the Martha who married William KNIGHT, father of Marian Isaac KNIGHT, father of Annie KNIGHT who married Lucius Theodore SIMMONS, whose grandparents, on the side of his mother, were James THIGPEN and Mary Elizabeth KENNEDY. This family of Martha NOBLES does however live next to a KENNEDA family and Mary KENNEDY would have been abt. 18 in 1850. There are no THIGPENS in the census.
