James Thigpen and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy

James THIGPEN was born 1830 in Mississippi to John Travis THIGPEN Jr. and Elizabeth CALHOUN.

James THIGPEN married Mary Elizabeth KENNEDY, b. abt. 1832 and died 1898 at the age of about 66.

James THIGPEN died 20 May 1903 at 73 years of age.

Delores Tousineau reports James THIGPEN is buried in the Nobles Cemetery at Washington Parish LA with his second wife. Online sources give him buried next to a Rosa THIGPEN Jan. 1867 – Jan. 1928.
